2018 was the first year Kalboom Developments participated in Athlete and Event Sponsorships.

Connor Smith

Connor and his Mom play on my ball team. He's a good kid. And when he approached me to support his rodeo adventures throughout the province of Alberta, I didn't hesitate to become his sponsor.

Connor entered the Mini Saddle Bronc and Junior Steers at the local Whitecourt Woodlands Rodeo's first Westward Junior Rodeo.

Whitecourt Woodlands Rodeo

I grew up around horses. My mom still raises them.

When I was approached to support the local rodeo, it was suggested that the rural audience would align with my own targets and have an appreciation for my products and services. As well, supporting a community event is a genuine show of how my business can contribute to the community.

My in-kind donation of 8 Loads of Gravel with Trucking will continue to help the Whitecourt Woodlands Rodeo and the Whitecourt & District Agricultural Society have solid ground and safe infrastructure.

Conor Kallbom

Conor started skiing at the age of 2. He joined the Jasper Free Ride ski team in 2015 and has been competing in moguls and slopestyle for the last 3 years. He loves free ride skiing into the backcountry, and catskiing.
